Meet Kendall Beerwinkle

Kendall Beerwinkle has been around animals her entire life. What started as helping neighbors feed their dogs and check on their cats grew into something much bigger — a calling to give pets the same level of care, comfort, and attention they get from their own families.

Today, Kendall is a student in the Veterinary Technician program at Cedar Valley College, where she's deepening her knowledge of animal health, behavior, and medical care. The training she's gaining in the classroom translates directly into better care for every pet she sits for — from administering medications to spotting the early signs that something isn't right.

On top of her studies, Kendall is certified through the RECOVER Initiative in Animal CPR & First Aid (BLS and ALS) — the gold standard for emergency veterinary response. It's the kind of training most pet sitters don't have, and it's there for one reason: in the rare moments that matter most, your pet is in skilled hands.

The Traveling Petsitters is a small, dedicated team with a collective experience of over two decades caring for pets of every shape and size. We think of every booking as a staycation for your pet — they stay home, in their familiar environment, surrounded by love and goodies while you're away.

One of the things our team is most proud of is our work with anxious pets. We specialize in calming nervous animals, helping reactive dogs settle, and being the steady, patient presence pets with separation anxiety need. It takes time and experience to do well — and it's something we genuinely love.
